Tamil language is spoken in Tamil Nadu, a state in Southern India. Tamil language is one of the official Indian languages and is spoken by more than 75 million people worldwide. Tamil language is derived out of the ancient Dravidian languages and uses the Tamil script. The language is also widely used in the neighboring states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala. Internationally, Tamil is spoken in UK, USA, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore and Mauritius.
Tamasheq is a variety of Tuareg, principally spoken in the area around Timbuktu. There are two divergent dialects, Timbuktu and Tadghaq. The name Tamasheq is sometimes applied to the Tuareg languages in general. There are around one million speakers of Tamasheq.
Tajik, also known as Tajik Persian or Tajiki, is a variety of modern Persian spoken in Central Asia. There are around 4.5 million native speakers of Tajik language. Tahitian is an indigenous language and it is spoken mainly in the Society Islands in French Polynesia.
