Kayah/ Kayah Li belongs to the Sino-Tibetan language family and is spoken by about 590,000 people in the Kayah and Karen states of Burma (Myanmar) and is also a member of Karen branch. The language and people who speak it are known as Western Kayah, Karenni, Karennyi, Red Karen, Yang Daeng or Karieng Daeng. The name Kayah is a new name invented by the Burmese to tear them off from other Karen. Eastern Kayah is reported to have been spoken by 260,000 people in Burma and 100,000 in Thailand in 2000, and Western Kayah by 210,000 in Burma in 1987.

Hmong is a spoken in China, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, USA, and French Guiana and belong to Hmong-Mien language group which is spoken by about 2.6 million people. There are two major varieties of Hmong first, White Hmong (Hmoob Dawb) and second Green/Blue Hmong (Moob Leeg/Hmoob Ntsuab), which are named after the traditional colors worn by women of the unlike groups. Today, Hmong write their language with the Romanized Popular Alphabet (RPA), a version of the Latin alphabet.
Hiligaynon, also known as Ilonggo, is an Austronesian language. It is mainly spoken in some regions of Philippines. There are around 7,000,000 native speakers of Hiligaynon language in and outside Philippines and also, there are around 4,000,000 speakers who can speak the language proficiently. Hiligaynon was written based on the Spanish orthography.
